Possible 03:54
the days have stilled. we can’t behold tomorrow’s turning face, it’s passing beyond the pale. and here we’ll find an endless love is possible, it’s passing the air between us. ever have I longed to breathe in the story without an ending. all the beauty dreamt in time is ascending here in the warm light.
3.
Eventide 05:45
night falls. light fails. grey clouds. moon pale. whisper dark leaves. singing soft breeze. now the winter of the day, memory sleeps in even’s tide. twilight like the tide of time gently rises. passing pain; bright. buried sunlight. rising night wave. darkness. cool grave. dreams come in winter clouds. to walk upon the tide, to wake over the sea. will we break upon the waves? time whispers in the leaves. death singing on the breeze. winter come sing me to sleep, a lullaby vessel to the hither shore. time falls away the tide falls away dreams come in evening clouds. to walk upon the tide, to wake over the sea. will we break upon the waves? will we pass the gates of night?

Wilderness 09:40
a trail of feet dots the dusty plains teardrops fall to wake soft whispers of a dream wind is stirring home is so far away let’s run away today you say I want to glimpse tomorrow from somewhere far away and there amidst the cold showers will come the beauty of the rain for there’s healing in the soil there and I just might forget my name as I recall the brights that I embraced then left behind an approaching sea of strangers will greet me with a smile far from here stretch lonely fields of green there we can dance to step outside and see a sky I’ve never known shifting colors of communion hear the song in the distance “welcome home...welcome home.”

Aria 07:38
in my dreams I’ve beheld you with the angels displayed. though I know dreams seldom come true, still I hope that tonight finds me with you.

The Veil 03:37
tell me tales of stars that hide in daylight; sing me songs of a moon that hides beneath me; show me signs of a love that hides unknown. can you see? the veil is thin but hidden. the story is so close to me, but ears to hear and eyes to see? they say that hands span the sky, that none are dead and none may die. crying out to me, silent as the stones... can you hear it? speak me words of things that bear believing, of beauty disembodied, pure, and lovely. can you see? the veil is thin but hidden. the story is so close to me, but ears to hear and eyes to see? they say that hands span the sky, that none are dead and none may die.

somewhere sings my love above the transient shapes, among the star’s light where the angels grace. our eyes are pressed to the glass in these ever long hours, til the world again finds itself trembling, and the sky’s refrain breaks forth with the weight of majestic snow.
10.
singing soft, their songs will grace our hearts with love, our gilded eyes with glory. a psalm lifts from dust unto thee, in search of a home inside the trees. here we reach for our starry estate a light familiar now frames the entryway. hallelujahs rush out and over. running out of night, running out of time, left in blood.

Faces 05:41
clear your head of songs and art for now they only bury you they’re not a door but a retreat from life they correspond to saw the years fall from your arms as fireworks fizzle from the sky but saw the arctic curtain thaw once you saw past your own life o glorious days, mysterious days how grateful I am to find you as choral voices in your coffee cup serve to remind you so haul some wood and stoke the fire but simply be, just simply be simply breathe and take in the faces that surround you.

about

"The writer wants to be published; the painter urgently hopes that someone will see the finished canvas; the composer needs his music to be heard. Art is communication... The reader, viewer, listener, usually grossly underestimates his importance. If a reader cannot create a book along with the writer, the book will never come to life. The reader must become a creator, imagining the setting of the story, visualizing the characters, seeing facial expressions, hearing the inflection of voices. The author and the reader 'know' each other; they meet on the bridge of words."
– Madeleine L'Engle
