I 06:37
Beneath the shade of bloodless moon reflected light of sanguine sun Fire in these veins thirsts for open air; to ignite the dark and drown the moon Liquid light of crimson gold fills opaque and fading vessel Tarry through time's reaction: dark horizons withhold the sun I find myself gone far afield in service of gold, with skin of lead I walk these fields of shadow before dawn hunting blind eyed for light
2.
II 07:26
the days arrive in smoky grey breathing air of filtered light a world of shells; hollow or masked drawing sight from eclipsed light the hours forged in gold tinged haze solar flares through desire and moon shadow the road ahead a journey taken as light through a veil

III 09:12
Borne away on winds I can't rescind on pleadings terse for eclipse reversed for lunar skin stained red instead. How opaque the inherent drapery all must bear bereft of hope to find the corona's pale though lingering halo traced around a temporal human face. Now under moon snuffed sun sprouting skin assails enfleshing vales surrounding. My failing limbs impart frostbitten hymns in tongues of stone. But sing o' muse of my upturned eyes imbued with gold leaf steadily dripping off the vellum dangling dead from the branches overhead. These parchments house the sun's extinguished trails illumined in gold renderings. Their suffused glows thaw thickening snows. Depictions of eternal suns entice my sullied state of ice.

IV 07:55
In velvet skies adorned with drapes of light moving slumber slow whispers sung of hope afar descend to allay the restless tides of my fallow heart born away in time, awash in the glow I'm lulled to repose through echoes of the winters din with veils disposed and light left passage in. My breath still labors in this frail faulted covering, its burden lingers on. With the memory that remains, my eyes are raised to the ever-present sun.

about

"Look on the rising sun: there God does live,
And gives his light, and gives his heat away.
And flowers and trees and beasts and men receive
Comfort in morning, joy in the noonday.

And we are put on earth a little space,
That we may learn to bear the beams of love;
And these black bodies and this sun-burnt face
Is but a cloud, and like a shady grove."
– William Blake
